Check valves
Check valves, also called one-way valves, are designed to stop backflow (reverse flow). Consequently, they protect compressors and pumps from damage. We manufacture two styles of check valves; swing type check valve and globe style check valves in Y-type design. Ranging in size from DN8-600. Our Engelsberg check valves are all made in Fagersta, Sweden.
Y-Type Check Valve
Engelsberg check valve type BAFR 435 is designed for quick shut-off with minimal differential pressure to prevent backflow of gases or liquids. Robust soft or metal to metal seat offers the highest possible leakage class and minimum maintenance. Engelsberg BAFR 435 check valve is available in Stainless Steel EN 1.4408 body in order to provide the best corrosion resistance and the longest lifetime. BSPF threaded connections is standard for easy mounting in DN8 to DN25 (1/4” to 1”).
Engelsberg BAS check valve type 102 for liquid and gas flow. Designed for quick shut-off to prevent backflow and open at the smallest flowrates to maintain stable process conditions. Robust metal to metal design to withstand high temperature and harsh conditions still offering the highest possible leakage class and minimum maintenance. Engelsberg BAS check valves are available in all commonly used steel alloys and titanium for industrial applications. The correct material is selected based on the application and media, in order to provide the best corrosion resistance and the longest lifetime. Wafer type design for easy mounting between flanges in DN15 to DN250.
Engelsberg BAS 202 Spring Loaded Swing Check Valve

Robust spring loaded, metal to metal design to withstand high temperature and harsh conditions. Still offering the highest possible leakage class and minimum maintenance.
