Throttling control of water to magnetic separator where iron is separated from granite in iron ore dressing plants

In this application at one of Sweden’s largest iron mines a Ramén KSG rubber lined Ball Sector Valve was installed. Two years later the valve was taken out of service. The rubber was beginning to come loose from the sector but the valve was still in very good condition. This established the KSG valve design as the preferred valve technology in severe services and replaced other valve technologies such as pinch valves.
